A driven, creative and goal-oriented global marketing professional, John spearheads development and execution to deliver impactful results for CURICH|WEISS and its clients. With more than 14 years of experience, John continues to represent venerable brands and top company executives across health & wellness, consumer products, home & design, travel & hospitality, food & restaurants, wine & spirits and luxury goods categories.  

Before co-founding CURICH|WEISS with James Curich, John was the Head of Communications for, a sustainably driven wellness start-up dedicated to upgrading healthy living.  In his role, John oversaw all brand communications including media relations, partnerships/sponsorships, and managing the social media and content teams for the company.   Prior to joining ALOHA, John was a Vice President in Edelman’s Consumer Marketing practice where he led accounts including evian, Badoit, Triscuit, belVita and Wheat Thins. While at Edelman, John successfully led the development and execution of the #evianbotteservice program, called one of the “5 Hottest Twitter Innovations From Brands” by AdWeek as well as the launch of Wheat Thins Popped with Kelly Osbourne.

Before working at Edelman, John spent more than 10 years at Susan Magrino Agency where he worked across the agency’s multiple divisions, managing accounts, developing creative strategies and delivering top-tier results for lifestyle clients within the travel, events, food & restaurants and wine & spirits divisions. 

John has overseen ongoing public relations for Virgin Atlantic Airways, including the launch of the JFK Clubhouse as well as milestones for the airline such as its 25th Anniversary connecting Miami and London. John has also led projects and accounts for clients including The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas as well as the hotel's star-studded New Year’s Eve Grand Opening celebration with performances by Jay-Z and Coldplay; the grand re-opening of the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach; high profile events for Cash Money Records; TurboChef for its residential speedcook oven (including on-site media relations at key industry shows including the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (K/BIS) and the International Builders’ Show (IBS)); The Art of the Automobile: Masterpieces of the Ralph Lauren Collection on display at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.

John has also worked with many of the world’s top wine and spirit brands including Glenfiddich, The Balvenie, Stolichnaya Vodka, Dom Perignon, Louis XIII cognac, Russian Standard Vodka and Veuve Clicquot. Other clients John has managed and created successful media relations campaigns for include Le Cirque, the opening of Gordon Ramsay at The London and Richard Gere’s The Bedford Post. 

John is a graduate of The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Connecticut and of Boston University, where he graduated with a B.A. in International Relations and minor in Business Administration.
